Ijen Sukamade Turtle Beach Tour
Midnight tour to discover the magnificent of Mount Ijen in East Java with its beauty and the Blue fire on the crater base. Hike under thousands stars, meet the sulfur miners and enjoy the beauty sunrise on the top on the mountain. Adventure on 4×4 WD at Meru Betiri National Park and tropical forest, through the river, valley and village inside the National Park. Witness the nature phenomenon of the Green turtle laying eggs at Sukamade Beach and releasing turtle babies back to the sea.
Itinerary
Day 1
12:00
Pick up from Banyuwangi and driving to Ijen trekking basement.
02:00
Arrive at Paltuding and preparing for Ijen Hiking tours
04:00
Arrive at the top of Mount Ijen and heading up to the sunrise spot.
05:30
The sun is rising and enjoy the moment of the sunrise and the greatest panoramic view of the blue acidic lake.
08:00
Leaving Ijen area and continue transfer to Siliragung Village for switching car into 4WD and be ready for adventure at Sukamade.
16:00
Arrive at Sukamade accommodation. Take a rest and preparing to join night tour searching turtle on the beach.
20:00
Be ready to go to the beach and joining the National Park ranger in searching mama turtle laying eggs on the beach. This activity will be finish at 23:00 and return to the homestay.
Day 2
05:00
Morning call to prepare joining the program releasing turtle babies back to the sea. All guest must be ready at sanctuary before 06:00 am and bring a bucket of turtle baby.

Leaving sanctuary and reaching Sukamade turtle beach take a walk about 700m.

Arrive at Sukamade beach adn the National park ranger will lead you to choose the best spot to release the turtle back to the ocean.

Heading back from the beach to sanctuary to see the ranger activity in treating the turtle eggs and information about turtle and Sukamade wildlife.

Leaving Sukamade area and move to other area for having breakfast and coffee break. The guide and jeep driver will choose the best spot to stop and enjoy the breakfast and morning cup of coffee or tea.
11:00
Arrive at Siliragung village for switching the car and direct transfer to Banyuwangi or Ferry port. The trip is finished and see you on the next adventure.
